Our Story
Exploring new avenues for exchanges and collaboration
The purpose of this meeting is to make you discover and understand the possibilities and certain particularities of fertility management in Denmark. You will meet several fertility players in our city and find out how Aarhus is ultimately very involved in this area.
After your arrival, you will settle down for your stay, and we can get to know each other.
The next day you will start by visiting the Aagaard Fertility Clinic. This clinic belongs to the large international group Virtus Health, whose directors include Professor David Gardner. You will be able to talk to their staff, learn about their procedures, their results, and discuss ways to help patients with the treatment options available in Denmark.
You will visit their own sperm bank, Skejby Cryobank and you will be explained the donor search and selection process.
On this day you will also meet Cooper Surgical, a leading health and fertility company. It offers healthcare providers a full range of innovative medical solutions to help them deliver effective treatments and more options at the right time to achieve the fast results couples, women and babies expect.
Finally, the last day will bring you to Cryos International, the largest sperm and egg bank in the world. You will visit their main headquarters where you will learn more about the company, visit their very busy laboratory and learn about how they recruit and screen their donors, as well as processes and regulations regarding sperm donation in Denmark.
